Due to high demand for our service we are now prioritising those on a lower income and savings.
Would you like to join us as
a Volunteer Driver?
You would be helping mainly older people in your community who have reasonable mobility but no easy access to transport, by driving them to appointments or social activities within the B&NES area.
You choose every journey you take and can drive as little or as often as you like. You need to have use of a car and we cover mileage costs.

Shopping on Ebay - would you like to help Swan get the benefit of a small donation?
Supporting our charity's work through Ebay Checkout:
If you use Ebay to buy goods online, you may have noticed during the checkout process that a charity appears at the bottom of the screen that you can choose to make a donation to if you prefer. Swan has now registered with both Paypal and Ebay, so if you wanted to choose Swan as your Favourite Charity on Ebay, we would appear during the checkout process whenever you buy something on Ebay. This gives you the option if you wanted, to occasionally donate a small sum like £1 or £2 towards our transport scheme.
To make us your Favourite Charity, Go to Ebay.co.uk and login as normal, then click on My Ebay. You will appear on the ‘Activity’ tab in My Ebay - click over to the Account tab. In the left hand menu near the bottom click on Donation account, then above where it says ‘Pending Donations’ there is a little tab called ‘Dashboard’, click next to it onto Favourites and search for Swan Advice Network, which is our official charity name. Finally you click on Add to My Favourites located below this. It should then show a heart symbol with 'My Favourite Charity' next to it and you are all set!
